Tree House0In 2011, Foster Huntington left his job as a designer and started a nomadic lifestyle in a Volkswagen Syncro Camper Van. He worked as a photographer, blogger, and author to earn a living. He published the book Home is Where You Park It in 2014 and he described this lifestyle in his book.

Huntington recently built a meaningful house called Cinder Cone in Skamania, Washington.

It’s a tree house that consists of two parts and is connected with a 25-foot bridge. The lower level offers an office, a kitchen, and a guesthouse, while the upper level has a den and bedroom.

Each area of the tree house is 220 sq ft (about 20 sq m). The tree house also has multiple wood burning hot tubs and a skating area. Huntington and his construction team worked on the house for about one year and spent $170,000 (about W198,100) building it, not including the price of the land.

Huntington wants to inspire others to build their dream house, even if it is in a tree.
